The Palace Theatre is proud to introduce I Saw It in Wolcott First, a new insider community preview series offering free public screenings of original productions before they make their way to international stages and movie screens.
Created by Palace Theatre owners Frank Licari and Jeremiah James, the series invites audiences inside the creative process through exclusive workshop presentations, special screenings, and live talkbacks with the artists, writers, directors, and producers behind each project.
The series is part of the Palace Theatre’s mission to make Wolcott a destination where audiences can experience tomorrow’s productions today—bringing world-class entertainment to Wayne County while giving local audiences the opportunity to see it first.


A special screening of Jose Feliciano-Behind This Guitar, followed by a live talkback with director and producer Frank Licari, offering audiences an inside look at the making of the acclaimed documentary and the remarkable career of the legendary musician.
See the film that was a Peacock Exclusive and a selection of the SXSW International Film Festival before it embarks upon its international journey. Winner of multiple film festival awards.

Be among the first audiences anywhere to experience the workshop production of The Last Match: A Pro-Wrestling Rock Experience, the groundbreaking fusion of professional wrestling, original rock music, and immersive theatre preparing for its West End premiere in London.
Following the screening, audiences will enjoy a special talkback with members of the creative team, including creator, director, lead producer, and co-writer Jeremiah James and Executive Producer Frank Licari.

The series concludes with an exclusive workshop presentation of It Happened in Key West, the acclaimed original musical inspired by one of America’s most extraordinary true love stories and currently being developed into a major motion picture.
